About the Foundation

The Lyla Nsouli Foundation for Children's Brain Cancer Research was set up after our beautiful daughter, Lyla, was diagnosed, on August 13, 2011, at the age of 2 years and 8 months with an inoperable, incurable form of brain cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

Story of Lyla

Lyla was born at 5pm on Christmas Eve, December 24th 2008. She had a natural delivery free of complications and was assessed as a totally healthy newborn baby.

What we Fund

Research and Grants for Brain Cancer Research.

The Foundation’s aim is to improve the prognosis and eventually find a cure for the worst forms of brain cancer. We hope to achieve this by awarding brain cancer research grants. Learn more
